A few things worth knowing before you send a design our way.
How far in advance should I inquire?+
Signature cakes need 3–5 days notice. Grand cakes need 5–7 days. Tiered cakes need at least 7 days. The earlier the better — we keep our calendar small on purpose.
How does ordering work?+
Design something you love in the studio and send it to us. Within 24 hours we'll reply to confirm availability, share a personalized quote and send a deposit link.
Is there a deposit?+
Yes — a 50% deposit reserves your pickup date and time. The remaining balance is due at pickup. Deposits are non-refundable since each cake is handcrafted to order.
Where do I pick up?+
Pickup is in Mountain View, California. We share the exact address once your order is confirmed. We don't currently deliver.
Are the cakes really eggless?+
Every cake is 100% eggless and small-batch — no compromises on flavor or texture. Custom dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan) can sometimes be accommodated; please mention it in your inquiry.
Can I send a reference photo?+
Absolutely. Add it in the notes of your inquiry. We'll create a Golden Whisk interpretation in our signature aesthetic — slight artistic variations are part of what makes each cake one of a kind.
What if I don't see exactly what I want?+
